todays german is daim 3d like a mo'fo has s slick site with heaps of goods and occasional german to english faux pas worth a look just for the mans work

colour - we love it

so, pantone - those of us who know it, love it.. the moment you start diversifying your colours and being picky is when pantone comes into your life or as many of our great friends who moonlight as designers in print and beyond end up engulfed in its goods and coveting swatches and colourways

so anyway the idea is next time you are in brussels stay in the pantone hotel - 59 individual rooms and seven themed floors of colour - who knows you may wake up tripping balls just because of your bathroom

wtf!?! but as long as it endures

per square is closing! i have attached the news from them below but DAMN! -
a venue that has supported and given a home to the best in high art is leaving us
the issues of small galleries being priced out is one that i have always gotten pissed over

anyway get in there and support the last show and help it go out with an almighty bang - last call 6pm fri the 14th psm!

Hello Per Square Metre fans,

A Bit A History for y’all:

Renowned Gallery Per Square Metre was started in 2006 to fill a gap in the
commercial gallery market- that of an affordable, accessable, 100% artist
run space. The main goals being to promote,inspire and motivate;
underground, up-n-coming and amateur artists and help them break into the
commercial market.
Per Square Metre encourages INCLUSIVE creativity and is well respected in
the scene due to their unpretentious skill sharing, knowledge and passion
for all people and things creative. As a studio, their prolific
collaborative work in group murals and exhibitions is well known and
sought after.

The Studio has housed artists such as Bernard Romerona, Dabs & Myla, Sear,
Dvate,Porno, Ling, Mayo, Sigs and numerous other nomadic artists from
Australia and around the globe. These artists and the Gallery have been
instrumental to raising the profile of street art and graffiti in the
legitimate art scene.

The News:

On May 31st 2010, Per Square Metre will close its doors for the last time.
Due to forseen circumstances with dodgy landlords and the general
gentrification of Collingwood, Per Square Metre is shutting up shop until
a new suitable premises can be found to continue bringing you some light
love and liquor.
Dont cry! Alas, we knew the time would come when the mothership that is
Per Square Metre, would drop and send off her ‘pods’ to spread the love
and grow new projects here in Melbourne, around Australia and the world.

Stay tuned kids….

The Show:

After four and a half years and over two hundred exhibitions by Australian
and International artists, Per Square Metre is now closing its doors with
this fitting last exhibition by co-owners and artists - Dvate and Sear.

Along with a few ‘special guests’ they will be showcasing a variety of new
works, pushing the boundaries between graffiti and fine art. The show alone
is already creating interest locally and overseas and with the added draw
of being the final show at Per Square Metre it is sure to be an event not
to be missed.

its so often the motion is not though out as much as the content - animation is one of those mediums where you have so much to consider and capture its good to see it right - even if it is booty based
